Need help!

Mrs. Jones has been so awesome volunteering to help with the 3rd grade booth at Family Fun Night! I know that many of you have the Cheerleading Competition that night, but we could really use one more person to help. Maybe another family member, like a teenager who needs service hours?

FRIDAY, JAN. 31ST

EVERY GRADE IS IN CHARGE OF A GAME/ ACTIVITY. WE ARE GOING TO DO A COOKIE THEME. WHO DOESN'T LOVE COOKIES?

• "TOSS YOUR COOKIES" (Cookie Monster Bean Bag Toss)
• "FACE THE COOKIE" (like Minute to Win It- get the cookie from your forehead to your mouth)
• "GUESS HOW MANY COOKIES ARE IN THE JAR?" (just like with jelly beans, but w/ Cookie Crisp)

So......WHO wants to come have FUN and help me with the games?????? Also, might need some Oreo donations.

Christmas Countdown

Thanks for all of your responses and offers of help! Someone offered to help for the party and I can't locate the email from that person. Please let me know who you were and if you can still help. The party is @ 1:00 on Friday. Again, with the tremendous offers of help, I'm just going to assign random people for snacks according to what you offered to send. Special thanks to Joyce Cinousis and Barbara Block for your creative and fun offers of help!

There are 17 students in the class and the only allergy that I'm aware of is Reya Taylor's to apples. LMK if there is anything I forgot and/ or any questions. I will send Mrs. Colone's gift card in on Friday.

Christmas at Holy Trinity

Hello All,
We would like to collect  from each student for Mrs. Colone's Christmas gift. I plan to purchase a gift card for The Loft. She filled out a survey for me in the beginning of the year and mentioned that store as her favorite. I would like to know if you feel $5 or $10 would be better.
 
A big thanks to everyone who contributed to the Kitchen Basket. It turned out nice thanks to your lovely and generous contributions.
 
 I'll send this as an email also. Please LMK by Wed. 12-11-13 if you think $5 or $10 would be better. I will go with the majority opinion.


As for the Christmas party, I will send out requests for snacks, etc when I hear from Mrs. Colone.

Halloween

Hi Parents,
We are not having a Halloween party :( Mrs. Colone said probably just Christmas and Easter. I did send in a religious harvest craft and she said they would do it. I'm including the link to Spelling City. I put the words in each week (look under the title of the reading story). Since I do it for James anyway, I will include the link because I find it to be a great resource for studying the spelling words. I'll send an email to check the blog for any news as it comes. Thanks to everybody for responding with the survey.
